Over-Seeding

Over a period of year turf tends to get tired and require a degree of regeneration. The practice of over-seeding is essential for maintaining your lawn's long-term health and vibrancy and is really nothing more than spreading grass seed over an existing lawn. The golf industry has been doing it since the sport began and is an important step in maintaining quality turf.

In our experience the best time to carry out over-seeding is after lawn scarification when the presence of thatch has been reduced and conditions for germination are improved by ensuring that contact between seed and soil is maximised.
